Our team is a close knit group of guys who enjoy playing competitive tennis with a goal of postseason play. I personally think this is our best chance in a long time. Practices are important to not only work on our game, but to also develop the on court chemistry that is so desparately needed. Please do what you can to make it. If you can not make it on a certain week, please try and arrange some other time to practice. Russell is super at organizing and I am sure he would do what he can to help. Personally I am recovering from a strong mixed season and I am nursing two minor injuries. My children are at the age where everynight and weekend there are practices and games. For those of you who have been there, you know what I am going through. For those of you who are not there, I can honestly say I look forward to coaching and watching their games and practices more than anything and I am sure you will as well. This was a huge accomplishment (at least for me). Yes, it would've been even better if we'd advance to the finals and won the whole thing... I know, I didn't have my "A" game and I wish I did, that would've made a difference, for sure. Every match was winnable and I just can't stop thinking about it... I speak for myself, but I know we wouldn't be where we've been if it wasn't for Russell. His relentless commitment and superb effort for this team is what made it all possible for us to go to distance. Russell: I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are the best Capitan any team can wish for. It's was my privilege to be a part of your team. My partner Sue, who carried me trough tough matches, when I was down and hopeless: I just want to say to you, what a delight it was for me to play with you all this time, I couldn't have wished for a better partner - you are simply the best and I have enjoyed the time we've spent on and off the court!
