About the author
I am an avid tennis enthusiast living in Exton, PA. I started playing tennis at 29 after playing racket ball for 10 years. I started by taking a weekly lesson for a year, then added a weekly group lesson and then joined a USTA 3.5 Mixed team. By my 2nd year of tennis I was playing about 3 times a week and I try to keep that up as well as playing in 2-3 tournaments a year. I was a head coach for two years of a DIII college in 2006 & 2007. I have competed and won at USTA Districts, Sectionals and Nationals. I am a PTR (Professional) teaching pro and I give lessons. I am constantly working on my game by reading and taking lessons. I have been a USTA league coordinator in the Philadelphia Area Tennis District (PATD) for the last 6 years.
