9.0 Mixed

This is the first year of my 9.0 Mixed team.  My co-captain is Lynn Dickson who has been my 8.0 co-captain for the past 3 years.  I will rely heavily on Lynn for navigation in the 9.0 waters  this year.

I started the team with the same idea I had for 8.0 – I want to play 9.0 so why not run a team at 9.0.  And, since playing Mixed does not affect your rating (unless you only play Mixed), it’s a great opportunity to get exposure at the next level.  But, again, the team is strong and my court time will be limited as we have assembled a solid core of players that will challenge for the post season. 

The nucleolus of the 9.0 Tennis Addiction team (Lynn, Wasyl, Brian & Kyle), merged into our ranks and we have also picked up some great newcomers and some key members of the Kinetix 9.0 team that made Nationals last year.  It should be a fun season.  We kick it off 1/3 vs. Kinetix 2.
